Gunners could land Spurs target Eto'o in sensational swap deal
 |
| Samuel Eto'o |
MEDIA reports in Spain suggest Arsenal may land Spurs target Samuel Eto'o, although may have to loose striker Emmanuel Adebayor in the process.
Barcelona are believed to be preparing a sensational swap deal, which would see both players moving in opposite directions.
El Mundo Deportivo says Adebayor has emerged as a top attacking target for the Spanish club. And while the Gunners would want big money if they sold the Togo international, manager Arsene Wenger, who is believed to be a big fan of Eto'o could be persuaded by a swap deal.
That would come as a big blow to Arsenal's bitter rivals Tottenham, who have been reported to be heavily interested in signing the Cameroon ace.

Yes, that was a good deal to land Eto'o for **** useless Adebayour. This swap is fantastic. Injury prone Robin need to be swap with Henry as well. This sounds good as well.

I think people are getting bored and making up stories as they go along. Next you'll be saying that Arsenal will be getting Messi in place of Fabregas (A crap deal as Fabregas is a better player).

adebayor should not go anywhere and if he wenger want eto he should know how to go about that.i think a player we should be talking about right now his david villa who can play our own pattern.also this guy came help and say i love arsenal.so what are we talking about get this guy and wenger will compliment adebayor and fabregas effort in the team.

Why swap? Why not buy Eto'o and Deco straight up? Show them Arsenal is a buying club, not a selling club.

Arsenal must buy Samuel Eto, not Obafeni Martins cos I think eto is worth the fee as martins because of age.

Load of tosh. And as for "RassHenry" - how can you say Adebayor is rubbish? 30 goals in a season is no mean feat. Although you are from Malaysia so obviously you don't watch Arsenal too often and your knowledge about Arsenal could be written on a stamp. Kindly refrain from talking ****

smudger.. mate you can't deny ade has been wasteful in front of goal.. eto would have scored 30 goals in the premier league alone with the chances that ade had// on top of that ade seems to have a bit of an ego about him which could be a problem.. reports coming out that he is demanding 80,000 a week// by the way, i live in finsbury.. close enough to the grove for ya??.. don't ridicule a fan just because he doesn't live around n5// arsene thinks they are important.. why else would we have bought inamoto :)??//

This is hilarious. Addy for Eto'o. What a load of rubbish. Arsenal are not buying or selling any forwards. I thought Van Persie might be going, as he took so long to recover from his injury and when he did come back he played like a player going through the motions. I know it take time to get up to match fitness but he was really average.

Eto, Adebayo switch is not a goo idea. Arsenal needs more gunners up front who score. What happpens if eto come down with another injury in the middle of the season.

I don't think we'll be moving VP on at the moment! He's one of our few players who seems happy to stay. Although if he continues to have injury problems, then this may be his last season with us. Most important for us is to replace Edelman ASAP, and with a football person who can start negotiating for us. Easy to forget that the 07-08 season's still running. That being said, Man U set the bar with their early purchases last year, and most transfers will happen before the Euros inflate prices (even more). Wenger will want to bring in only a small number of players from outside to minimise disruption to the squad.
